As part of our summer workshop series, professional artist Elena Brambilla (@the_sewing_sailor) will join us to teach a botanical watercolour workshop on Friday, 19 January.
Regulars at Mrs Blackwell's Village Bookshop will know Elena's work from her popular greeting cards and bookmarks.
In this workshop Elena will show us how to get started with watercolour paint, and she'll teach us some techniques to paint seasonal leaves.
Suitable for both beginners and experienced artists. Everything is provided.
Participants will receive:
Lesson and instruction from Elena (approximately 2 hours)
Watercolour art supplies that you can take home - brushes, paper, pencil, eraser and watercolours
Snacks and Refreshments
Friday 19th January, 5:30pm - 7:30pm (this is Wellington Anniversary weekend)
