Selling Your Book at Mrs Blackwell’s Village Bookshop

For the most part we prefer to buy our books through distributors rather than direct from authors - we’re a small team and this helps us keep the administration neat and tidy.

We do not accept solicitation in the shop so please don’t be disappointed if you come in and we decline to hear your pitch.

If you’d like us to consider your book the best method is to email us including at least a synopsis - but ideally a chapter to two - the wholesale and retail prices and details of how or where we can purchase your book.

Special note to children’s authors: our children’s selection is very limited and within that we really only sell children’s non-fiction. Here’s an explanation.
